Chantal Sheehan is the Founder and CEO of Blue Fox, a fractional CFO and COO advisory firm built exclusively for nonprofits and social enterprises ready to scale.
Chantal is known among clients and colleagues as a transformational leader - someone who brings both rigor and genuine care to every engagement. Under her leadership, Blue Fox operates from a simple but powerful conviction: the organizations doing the most important work in the world deserve financial and operational leadership that's just as serious as their mission.
There's nothing cookie-cutter about how Blue Fox works. Chantal and her team bring fractional CFO and COO leadership, compliance architecture, and strategic finance to organizations ready to operate at a higher level - showing up as long-term partners, not vendors. It is this relationship-oriented focus, along with operational excellence, that has won Blue Fox national industry awards.
Chantal's philosophy is that organizational sustainability is built on three things: data-driven decision-making, capacity building, and the ability to translate financial complexity into clarity. "Key decision-makers need to understand the story their numbers tell — and then learn how to listen. That's where we come in."
As a recognized voice in the social impact sector, Chantal shares her expertise through speaking engagements and published writing nationwide. Chantal holds an MS in Management from SIT Graduate Institute and a Certified Financial Planner certificate from Northwestern University. Her hands-on finance and technology expertise runs deep — including QuickBooks proficiency that predates the cloud, the internet, and yes, even Windows.
